Saisho-in (最勝院) is a sub-temple, or tatchu (塔頭) of Nanzen-ji. The temple may be a bit hard to find, but you can't miss it if you turn left after passing under the aqueduct. While not particularly interesting (at least compared to other sub-temples of Nanzen-ji), the access is free. The entrance path is also quite nice with its lozenge pavement leading to the front gate. Most trees here are maple so be sure to come in autumn!
