Enri-an is a small temple hidden in a bamboo forest, itself hidden in a residential area. The fact that this temple is only open to visitors a few days per year (if at all) also makes it a bit hard to visit. To find its entrance, you'll have to walk the road between Seiryo-ji and Nison-in and spot the narrow path leading north in a bamboo forest.
Enri-an has a couple of small zen gardens and is particularly beautiful in autumn. Which incidentally is probably the only season when it is likely to open. There is also an old tea house called Shigure-tei (時雨亭) but I missed it during my (only) visit. Darn!
