Tokuun-in (徳雲院)

Tokuun-in (徳雲院)

Tokuun-in (徳雲院) is a sub-temple of Myoshin-ji. It was founded in 1506. While it is not open to the public, the narrow alley leading to its southern gate is a well known sight in Myoshin-ji. The gate is located under a maple tree which glows bright red in autumn.
