Bukko-in is a small sub-temple of Kaju-ji. It is associated Junkyo Ohishi, a geisha who lost both her arms (her father cut them with his katana!) when she was 17. She then became a very famous painter, using only her mouth to produce very beautiful pieces of art. Kasho-an (可笑庵), located nearby, has a museum about her.
Note that Bukko-in is not open to the public, except from its front yard.
