Honman-ji (本満寺)

Honman-ji (本満寺)

Honman-ji (本満寺) is a temple on the northern part of the Teramachi street. Founded in 1410, it one of the few temples of the area that have some interest for the tourist (besides the important Shofuku-ji of course). The temple has very nice satsuki rhododendron bushes, a large cherry blossom tree and a large cemetery that can be explored. In this cemetery is the grave of famous warrior Yamanaka Yukimori.
