Daikō-in (大光院)

Daikō-in (大光院)

This temple is not open to the public, so only the exterior can be seen. I am not aware of exceptional visits (特別拝観) either so it likely remain a secret place :) The outer wall consists or recycled roof tiles of various shapes and forms, which is a classic design found here and there in Kyoto.
