In order to build the interface in SMD, you will need the following stuff:
- a low-power thin-tip soldering iron, together with good soldering skills,
- thin-tip tweezers, to place the components on the board,
- SMD paste is optional (I don't use it).
- either a good pair of eyes or a lamp with a magnifying lens.
That's all Folks! Not much, uh? Well, not really: a good soldering iron (I use a Weller WTCP-S station) is $120, plus a thin tip at $8, plus the tweezer (start at $10 for a good one) and you reach aroung $150! So if you're not equipped, find a friend who is. Maybe the MemoMouse wasn't so expensive after all...
